PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hair damage by hair dyeing treatment with an oxidative hair dye or a hair manicure or permanent wave treatment to render the touch of the hair after treatment good and the hair ends in unison and to prepare the hair condition before each treatment to enhance dyeing and wave-forming effects. SOLUTION: An oily hair treating agent contains a triglyceride (A) and an ester oil (B) having viscosity at 25°C of not higher than 30 mPa s and the component (A) is a triester of an 8-12C straight-chain fatty acid with glycerin, and the content of the sum of the component (A) and the component (B) (when the entire oily hair treating agent is taken as 100 wt.%) is not less than 80 wt.%, and the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is 10:90 to 90:10.
