<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a rotary part in a predetermined position to a vertical shaft by pressing fitting member of a vertical click mechanism by high pressing force, without interfering with a horizontal shaft for supporting the rotary part of a biaxial hinge device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vertical click mechanism 80V is composed of the fitting member 85 held by the rotary part 70 and positioning and holding the rotary part 70 in and by the vertical shaft 60 by fitting in a fitting recessed part 6R of the vertical shaft 60, and a coil spring 83 for pressing and energizing the fitting member 85 so that this fitting member 85 is fitted in the fitting recessed part 63R of the vertical shaft 60. The fitting member 85 is held by a holder 86 arranged inside the inner end of the horizontal shaft 50, and has a through-part 87 pressed by a spring receiver 83R by slidingly penetrating through a support part 71V1 for supporting the inner end of the horizontal shaft 50 between the spring receiver 83R and the holder 86, and presses the holder 86 by avoiding the horizontal shaft 50.
