<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, stably inverting a sheet while saving a space and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a sheet discharge passage 306 for discharging a sheet with image formed thereon; a re-carrying passage 302 branched from the sheet discharge passage 306 to invert the sheet with a toner image fixed on one surface thereof to move it toward an image forming part; a fan 10 which sucks and blows air to a process cartridge; and an air duct provided between the fan 10 and an inversion point 301 between the sheet discharge passage 306 and the re-carrying passage 302 to guide the air sucked and blown to the process cartridge by the fan 10 toward the inversion point 301. When the sheet is inverted, the sheet passing through the inversion point 301 is moved toward the re-carrying passage 302 by the air from the air duct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
