TRAFFIC INFORMATION GATHERING METHOD IN BACKBONE NETWORK, TRAFFIC INFORMATION GATHERING DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information gathering method, a traffic information gathering device, and a program that gather traffic information in a backbone network, and total or analyze the gathered traffic information.

SOLUTION: The traffic information gathering method by a gathered information management device 1 comprises: holding information of a conversion table of IP addresses after conversion for respective NAT devices 3-N, information of an address conversion table in which correspondence relation between IP addresses before conversion and port numbers before conversion, and IP addresses after conversion and port numbers after conversion is described, and user terminal identification information in which port numbers before conversion and IP addresses before conversion of the user terminals 3-N are described; receiving traffic information transmitted from a gathered information transmission device 2; identifying an IP address before conversion and a port number before conversion from the pieces of held information based upon an IP address after conversion and a port number after conversion of the received traffic information to specify a user terminal 4-N corresponding to the IP address after conversion of the traffic information.
