PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of surely slitting continuous paper by a slitter. SOLUTION: The device includes suction ports 15x, 15y sucking edge chips 13x, 13y generated at both right and left ends of separately-packing paper when slitting the separately-packing paper as an example of the continuous paper supplied from raw paper 13 by a rotary blade 14 of the slitter 11 in multiple slips of paper 13a, 13b, ..., and also includes a rubber roller 17 guiding each slips of paper 13a, 13b, ..., slit by the rotary blade 14 of the slitter 11 and the edge chips 13x, 13y in a predetermined direction. The rubber roller 17 is synchronized with the rotary blade 14 of the slitter 11 to be driven, and thereby almost the same tension is imparted to the slips of paper 13a, 13b, ..., and the edge chips 13x, 13y.
