<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator capable of performing power generation by easily exchanging a solid substance and a liquid substance which are hydrogen sources for new ones. <P>SOLUTION: This generator includes: a hydrogen source containing body 2 having a containing chamber 20 for containing a solid substance 28 and a liquid substance 27, the containing body 2 transmitting hydrogen generated by contact of the solid substance with the liquid substance; and a generator body having a mounting portion to detachably mount the hydrogen source containing body 2 and a fuel cell 11 to generate power by hydrogen transmitted from the hydrogen source containing body 2. In the containing chamber 20, a solid substance containing chamber 20b, a liquid substance containing chamber 20a, a liquid substance supply passage 23 to supply the liquid substance contained in the liquid substance containing chamber to the solid substance containing chamber, and a hydrogen transmitting passage 24 to transmit hydrogen generated in the solid substance containing chamber by contact of the solid substance and the liquid substance, the hydrogen entrance of the hydrogen transmitting passage being disposed closer to the liquid substance containing chamber side than the liquid substance exit of the liquid substance supply passage, are prepared. In the generator body, a connecting pipe to connect the hydrogen source containing body 2 to the fuel cell 11 and a valve 17a to open and close the connecting pipe are prepared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
