<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission delay time measurement method for calculating a reliable minimum transmission delay time. <P>SOLUTION: In the transmission delay time measurement method for measuring the transmission delay time from a first communication terminal to a second communication terminal, both of which are connected to a communication network that uses periodic fixed length frames, a plurality of packet signals with random time intervals are transmitted from the first communication terminal to the second communication terminal through the communication network, and the transmission delay time from the first communication terminal to the second communication terminal is calculated, based on the time from transmission of the plurality of packet signals by the first communication terminal to reception by the second communication terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
