摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize the regeneration timing of regenerating the ion exchange capacity of an ion exchange resin housed inside a water softener 21 equipped in an electrolytic water generator and to regenerate the ion exchange resin at appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic water generator is provided with an ion exchange resin regeneration means. A controller is provided with a function of converting hardness from electric conductivity calculated from an electrolytic current value generated when electrolyzing raw water, a function of calculating the limit amount of a soft water production amount of the water softener on the basis of the converted hardness of the raw water, and a function of integrating the amount of the raw water which has passed through the water softener on the basis of detection signals outputted from a flowmeter. The point of time at which the amount of the raw water which has passed through the water softener reaches a prescribed amount set beforehand is determined as the limit of the ion exchange capacity of the ion exchange resin, and the ion exchange resin regeneration means is driven to regenerate the ion exchange resin housed inside the water softener. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
