PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a vehicle body front structure so as to minimize the reduction of the shock absorbing stroke of a shock absorbing member, when installing a towing hook to the shock absorbing member offset from the center of the shock absorbing member. SOLUTION: The vehicle body front structure 10 includes: a bumper beam 18 fixed to the front end of a front side frame 13 via the shock absorbing member 14; the towing hook 25 disposed near this bumper beam 18 to tow a vehicle body 11. This structure is provided with: a box part 49 facing the lower surface of the bumper beam 18 from the front end of the shock absorbing member 14; and a fastening part 24 fastening the towing hook 25 on the front surface of this box part 49.
