PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe press belt which has water-catching portions and land portions in the surface layer of a wet paper side layer, and prevents the generation of cracks on the surface portions of the land portions and on the bottom portions of the water-catching portions. SOLUTION: This shoe press belt 10 is made from a base B, a wet paper side layer 20 disposed on the outside of the base B, and a shoe side layer S on the inside of the base B. In the shoe press belt 10, the wet paper side layer 20 and the shoe side layer S are made from elastic polymer materials; the surface layer 11 of the wet paper side layer 20 comprises dent-like water-catching portions 40 and land portions 50 which are protruded portions made by the formation of the water-catching portions 40; and the hardness of the surface portions 52 of the land portions 50 are set to be relatively higher than the hardness of the bottom portions 42 of the water-catching portions 40, thereby preventing the generation of cracks in the surface portions 52 of the land portions 50 of the shoe press belt 10, the bottom portions 42 of the water-catching portions 40, and corner portions 43.
