<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen applicable to a pleats screen device or a curtain which does not have a pleats pitch holding mechanism at the rear and has a superior aesthetic appearance from both front and rear sides. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This screen 1 is formed by overlapping, with each other, a front cloth 2 and a rear cloth 3 having respective shape-memorized pleats 4, 5 of the same quantity at the valley-folded parts 4b, 5b of the pleats 4, 5, and adhering to each other at the overlapped parts 6. The crest-folded parts 4a, 5a of the pleats of the front cloth 2 and the rear cloth 3 are bent in the same direction, and the cloth width W1 of the crest-folded part 4a of the front cloth 2 is set larger than the cloth width of the crest-folded part 5a of the rear cloth 3. Consequently, at the time of expansion, the space S is formed between the crest-folded part 4a of the front cloth 2 and the crest-folded part 5a of the rear cloth 3, and the rear cloth 3 has a holding function for the pleats pitch of the front cloth 2.
