<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion liquid for a dye receiving layer capable of forming a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which is excellent in releasability from a transfer sheet and excellent in the transferability of a laminated layer of a transfer sheet while maintaining an excellent dyeing property, and to provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet having a dye receiving layer obtained from dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: The dispersion liquid for the dye receiving layer is obtained by mixing a resin dispersion liquid in which polyester is dispersed in an aqueous medium, and 8-35 wt.% of silica particles based on the solid content of the resin dispersion liquid. The polyester is obtained by condensation-polymerizing an alcohol component which contains 50 mol% or more of an alkylene oxide adduct of a 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane and a carboxylic acid component. The silica particles has a volume median particle size (D50) of 10-50 nm, SF-1 of 130 or larger, and SF-2 of 115 or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
