<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger reducing uncomfortable smell. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 100 includes: header pipes 1, 2; a plurality of flat tubes 3 arranged between the header pipes 1, 2 in parallel leaving intervals and jointed to the header pipes 1, 2 at a right angle; and corrugated fins 4 attached to the tubes 3. The thickness of a hydrophilic film formed on the surface of the fin 4 is set to be 0.1-0.6 μm, or the molecular weight of resin constituting the hydrophilic film is set to be 10,000-20,000.
