PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a selective medium predominantly proliferating a target microorganism in a mixture of numerous microorganisms based on a specific standard. SOLUTION: The method for producing the selective medium includes: a step for selecting at least one kind of a carbon source which is assimilated by the microorganisms and/or at least one kind of an antibiotic to which the microorganisms have resistivity, based on biological information of the microorganisms; and a step for mixing the selected carbon source and/or antibiotic with a base medium component.
