PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call parent machine which performs clear distinguishment so as not to mix up a call from a nurse call child machine for exclusive use and a call from each nurse call child machine without providing a department selecting section corresponding to the nurse call child machine for exclusive use. SOLUTION: The department selecting sections 26 provided according to the number of sickbeds installed within a ward are put in order to give one ward area and as to a call from the nurse call child machine installed near the sickbed, only the lamp L of the corresponding department selecting section 26 is turned on and off. On the other hand, as to a call from the nurse call child machine for exclusive use installed in specific space within the same ward, the lamps L of all the department selecting sections 26 within the ward area are turned on and off. Thus, it becomes unnecessary that the department selecting section 26 corresponding to the nurse call child machine for exclusive use is separately formed and it is possible to perform clear distinguishment so as not to mix up the call from the nurse call child machine for exclusive use and the call from the each nurse call child machine.
