Producing polyamines with primary amino groups and a portion of monomeric di- or triamine of less than 0.1 wt.%, comprises reacting (a) the free isocyanate (NCO) groups of a polyisocyanate prepolymer, (a1) in the presence of a solvent, (a2) under influence of water and (a3) in the presence of a catalyst, (a4) carrying out the reaction under compliance of a temperature range of 20-100[deg] C, preferably 50-70[deg] C, and subsequently separating the volatile components of the resulting reaction mixture by simple vacuum distillation. Producing polyamines with primary amino groups and a portion of monomeric di- or triamine of less than 0.1 wt.%, comprises reacting (a) the free isocyanate (NCO) groups of a polyisocyanate prepolymer having an average NCO functionality of at least 1.5 under carbon dioxide-separation, (a1) in the presence of a solvent in a molar ratio of solvent to NCO group of at least 1 to 1 to at most 50 to 1, preferably at least 5 to 1 and at most 30 to 1, (a2) under influence of water in a molar ratio of water to NCO groups of at least 0.5 to 1 to at most 100-1, preferably 1 to 1 and at most 3 to 1, (a3) in the presence of a catalyst in a molar ratio of catalyst to NCO groups of at least 0.0001 to 1 and at most 1 to 1, preferably at least 0.001 to 0.1, (a4) carrying out the reaction under compliance of a temperature range of 20-100[deg] C, preferably 50-70[deg] C, and subsequently separating the volatile components of the resulting reaction mixture by simple vacuum distillation.
|
