PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monopolize a communication network to perform burst transfer in a reserved time zone with respect to the method for transfer the burst where burst transfer is performed between communication terminals by label multiplexing or time division multiplexing. SOLUTION: In a communication network 3, communication reservation requests A and B which include communication destination information including addresses or originating and terminating communication terminals and band information indicated by the communication start time, the communication time length, or the ratio on the period are received by a request accepting means 4 and are transferred to a communication request analysis means 5. This means 5 transfers communication destination information 10 to a route setting means 6 and transfers band information 11 to a band reservation means 7. The route setting means 6 sets a route in the communication network 3 based on the originating communication terminal address and the terminating communication terminal address and transfers its communication route information 12 to the band reservation means 7 and informs the originating communication terminal of the result indicating whether the communication reservation request can be accepted or not, and burst transfer is performed in accordance with this reservation if it can be accepted. |
