The inductor has metallic inductor layers (1, 1', 1'') that are electrically isolated against each other. Each inductor layer consists of a separate circular molding part with electrical disconnecting points (2, 2', 2''). Electrically non-insulated areas of each inductor layer are overlapped with each other and implemented as a contact zone for electrical contacting of the adjacent inductor layers. The overlapping areas of the inductor layers have offsets. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an electric motor operated valve actuator system (2) a method for electric insulation of inductor layers of an inductor.
