<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece assembling method for reducing cost required for workpiece assembling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this workpiece assembling method for assembling a side airbag 20A in a side airbag assembling part 12A, a pin member 55 of a hand 50 is first inserted into a pin insertion hole 231 to position the correlation position of the side airbag 20A for the hand 50, next the side airbag 20A is held by the hand 50 and is moved into the side airbag assembling part 12A and a tip part of the inserted pin member 55 is inserted into a pin insertion hole 101 in the side airbag assembling part 12A to position the side airbag 20A in the side airbag assembling part 12A, and then a screw 61 is inserted into a screw insertion hole 232 of the side airbag 20A and is tightened in a screw-fitting part 102 in the side airbag assembling part 12A by tightening devices 60A, 60B.
