<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which stably transmits driving force to a transporting section when coefficient of linear expansion in resin forming the transporting section and coefficient of linear expansion in resin in a first frame supporting the transporting section greatly differ. <P>SOLUTION: The first frame 34 and a second frame 37 made of resin are attached to a main frame 35 and the transporting section 23 made of resin is attached to the first frame 34. The resin in the transporting section 23 has lower coefficient of linear expansion than the first frame 34 and the second frame 37. An output gear 49 transmitting the driving force to an input gear 50 by being connected to the input gear 50 of the transporting section 23 is attached to the second frame 37 not to the first frame 34. Thus, separation of the input gear 50 and the output gear 49 from each other is suppressed even when the transporting section 23 and the first frame 34 are each expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
