<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten cycle time in image plotting processing, even when periodical weight measurement processings are to be carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid droplet discharge apparatus 1 includes a plurality of functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17 for plotting an image on a work W by an ink jet system; a work stage 21 for mounting the work W; a work-moving means 22 for moving the work W in the main scanning direction; a flashing unit 14 for receiving waste discharge from the plurality of functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17; a discharge inspection unit 18 for inspecting the discharge performance of the plurality of functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17; a weight-measuring unit 90 for measuring the weight of the functional liquid drops discharged from the plurality of functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17; and a unit-moving means 23 for mounting the flashing unit 14, the discharge inspection unit 18 and the weight-measuring unit 90 and moving the flashing unit 14, the discharge inspection unit 18 and the weight-measuring unit 90 in the main scanning direction, on the same track as the work stage 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
