CLOTH-LIKE FILAMENT CELLULOSE, COMPOSITE MATERIAL USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE CLOTH-LIKE FILAMENT CELLULOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth-like filament cellulose needing neither the design nor examination of a binder each for resins to be used; to provide a composite material using the same; and to provide a method for producing the cloth-like filament cellulose. SOLUTION: The cloth-like filament cellulose is such that staple cellulose fibers are stuck onto the surface of filament cellulose fibers. In the cloth-like filament cellulose, the diameter of the filament cellulose fiber is preferably 0.01-5 mm, while the diameter of the staple cellulose fiber is preferably 0.5-10μm and its length is preferably 0.01-5 mm. Besides, it is preferable that the staple cellulose fibers are physically entangled with one another on the surface of the filament cellulose fiber. The method for producing the cloth-like filament cellulose includes: the first step of impregnating a cloth-like filament cellulose in a staple cellulose fibers' dispersion; and the second step of removing the solvent of the dispersion.
