<p>The present invention relates to methods for drug repositioning. More particularly, this invention relates to methods for selecting approved drugs or combinations of approved drugs for use in new therapeutic indications. This approach is situated in a cross section between drug repositioning and disease treatment by combinations of drugs with additive or synergistic action. The invention also allows to define drugs or drug combinations for treating the unmet medical need in diseases neglected by majority of Pharma companies, such as orphan diseases.</p> |
