摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus capable of removing an afterimage which is formed by the influence of a long-term residual output component in non-irradiation, and to provide an offset correcting method. <P>SOLUTION: A signal monitoring means 15 starts monitoring a statistic between the detection elements of an image output signal after X-ray irradiation is stopped linked with an X-ray irradiation control part 7. When the statistic becomes equal to or less than a reference value, a correction data updating part 23 updates offset correction data. Subsequently, the correction data updating part 23 updates the offset correction data whenever a prescribed time passes, based on the monitoring result of a post-updating time monitoring part 16.
