APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING POSITION OF A LENS SYSTEM IN A CAMERA

PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring position of lens system are provided to supply precise location measurement result by adding only a light source and reflection member in a existing camera configuration. CONSTITUTION: Lens system(110) including at least one lens(112) moves along a preset axis. A reflection member(124) is connected to the lens system. An image sensor(130) detects light reflected by the reflection member. The image sensor outputs an image signal including detected location information of the light. Based on the detection location information of the light, a controller(170) calculates the position on an axis of the lens system.
