<p>PURPOSE: A cold cathode fluorescent lamp is provided to reduce the width of left and right vessels of a backlight device by minimizing the non-emission region outside a glass tube, which is generated by a leader line and a lamp holder. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent substance(40) is coated on the inner wall of a glass tube. A discharge gas is inputted to the glass tube. A lamp is turned on with a plasma discharge by the power applied to a discharge electrode(20) formed on both sides of the glass tube. A conductive paste is coated on both ends outside the glass tube. The conductive paste and the discharge electrode are connected by a lead line(30). The power of the lamp holder is applied to the discharge electrode through the conductive paste.</p> |
