PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a red phosphor using a membrane emulsification method is provided to manufacture the red phosphor including a spherical shape, with the high yield. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a red phosphor using a membrane emulsification method comprises the following steps: preparing a dispersed phase solution containing an yttrium oxide, a gadolinium oxide, an europium oxide, and boric acid; preparing a continuous phase solution containing a dispersing stabilizer and a surfactant; forming a water-in-oil emulsion by dispersing the dispersed phase solution to the continuous phase solution by passing the dispersed phase solution though an inorganic porous membrane; forming a precipitate by controlling the pH of the water-in-oil emulsion; and sintering the precipitate.
