<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow extension of piping and inhibit occurrence of dead water. <P>SOLUTION: In a stop cock 30, when a tube 52 of a tubular member 48 is inserted in the annular groove 16 of a branch piping connection 14 of a header with a water stop member 50 connected to the tubular member 48, slipping-out of the tubular member 48 is prevented by a pipe holding ring 20 and opening of a flow path 18 of the branch piping connection 14 is closed by the tubular member 48 and the water stop member 50. Further, the insertion part 62 of the water stop member 50 is inserted into the flow path 18. The inside of the flow path 18 is thus filled with the insertion part 62 and water is inhibited from entering the flow path 18. Occurrence of dead water in the flow path 18 can be therefore inhibited. Furthermore, when the water stop member 50 is removed from the tubular member 48, piping can be connected to the tubular member 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
