PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having superior durability and preventing or suppressing the generation of color unevenness in stripe forms.

SOLUTION: An ink for the color filter which is to be used for manufacturing the color filter by an inkjet system is provided, and the ink contains a pigment, a resin material, a dispersive medium dispersing the pigment, and a compound (A) expressed by formula (10). In the formula (10), R represents a 1-7C hydrocarbon group; Ar represents a naphthalene ring structure which may have a substituent; and n represents an integer of 1 to 7.
