PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and program for parameter decision support, promptly and easily capable of deciding a parameter to be set to a processing device in which a processing result is obtained by performing processing using a pair of predetermined parameters for image data obtained by imaging an object to be measured. SOLUTION: For each of a plurality of parameter candidates on which trial is made, a display list of the decision result thereof and the statistical output allows a user to easily select an optimal parameter set. For example, each of the trial numbers "2", "4" and "5" in which the number of incorrect detections is zero can perform stable processing, however, the trial number "2" of them has a shortest processing time.
