<p>Disclosed is a brake system including a built-in disc brake which prevents dragging. A nut member (60) is provided with an engaging portion (100) equipped with a spring (106), and a piston (30) is provided with an engaged portion (112) which can engage with the spring (106). When a parking brake is released, the engaging portion (100) engages with the engaged portion (112) and the piston (30) is retracted up to a 0 point position dependent on the volume of abrasion of pads (16, 18) as the nut member (60) retracts. Consequently, dragging is prevented and braking delay can be controlled. Furthermore, the piston (30) can be advanced by compression of the spring (106) even when the parking brake is released, and a service brake can be made to act.</p> |
