<p>Disclosed is a solar cell manufacturing method with which an integrated thin film solar cell can be manufactured efficiently, wherein (1) a solar cell substrate, for which at least a lower electrode layer, a light absorption layer, and an upper electrode layer are formed on an insulation substrate, is provided, with said method including: (2) a patterning step wherein multiple grooves are formed, to a depth which reaches from the upper electrode layer side to the lower electrode layer surface, in the upper electrode layer surface in the areas which will be separated from each other in a post solar cell substrate process to be individual solar cell functional areas; (3) a wide-patterning step wherein each layer from the upper electrode side to the lower electrode surface, in both areas which extend parallel to the aforementioned multiple grooves and which will be individual solar cell functional areas, is removed to expose the lower electrode layer; (4) a brittle substrate scribing step; and (5) a breaking step.</p> |
