The system has a pre-drier (106) provided for drying entered air, and an evaporative cooler (109) attached at the pre-drier. A post-drier (112) is provided at an output of the evaporative cooler. Humidity sensors (102, 108, 111) are provided for determining humidity of the air. The pre-drier and the post drier are designed as chemical or refrigerant type driers. Temperature sensors (101, 107, 110) determine temperature of the air. A control unit is provided for switching off the pre-drier, when a value of humidity lies under a pre-determined limitation value.
