PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for a vehicle that continues control in giving assist force even if the reliability of some of a plurality of sensors is reduced. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 25 determines respective reliability levels regarding detection accuracy of a steering torque sensor 23 and a motor rotation angle sensor 24 based on a voltage V-BAT of a power source detected by a battery voltage sensor 21. Further, a unit 25 changes assist characteristic for determining a relationship of steering torque T or a rotation angleΘdetected by the sensors 23, 24 and torque given to turning operation of a steering wheel 11 by a driver based on the determined reliability level. Namely, the unit 25 changes the assist characteristic using a detection value by the sensor in which the reliability level is deteriorated of the sensors 23, 24, and does not change the assist characteristic using the detection value by the sensor in which the reliability level is not deteriorated.
