PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for printing which is a rubber-modified styrene-based resin film excellent in solvent resistance and directly printable and which is excellent in heat resistance, printability, mechanical strength, resistance to moisture absorption, film-forming ability and flexibility, and further, hardly adheres to a roller during film formation, and has superior appearance. SOLUTION: The film for printing is created by forming a thermoplastic resin composition (I), which is obtained by blending 7-18 pts.mass of an inorganic filler (C) with 100 pts.mass in total, consisting of 25 to 75 mass% of a rubber-modified styrene-based resin (A) and 25 to 75 mass% of a polyamide-based resin (B). The component (A) comprises either a graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer in the presence of a rubber polymer or a mixture of the graft copolymer and a (co)polymer of the vinyl monomer. The vinyl monomer contains, in addition to an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound, a vinyl monomer with a functional group, in an amount equal to 0.1 to 1.2 mass% of the component (A), and the limiting viscosity (methyl ethyl ketone, 30°C) of the acetone-soluble part of the component (A) is 0.15 to 1.5 dL/g.
