<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate which of an indoor side and an outdoor side the detected object is present in by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A directivity switching part 23 controls switching of a narrow directivity antenna 13a and a wide directivity antenna 13b of an electric wave sensor 11. The electric wave sensor 11 compares signal intensity of a signal received by outputting an electric wave by the narrow directivity antenna 13a with a signal intensity of a signal received by outputting an electric wave by the wide directivity antenna 13b, and the indoor/outdoor side determination part 22 determines which of the indoor side and the outdoor side the detected object is present in based on the comparison result.
