摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine whether or not a tire internal fault occurs due to separation without influencing tire behavior. <P>SOLUTION: After extracting a time-series waveform of tire breadthwise acceleration input from a road surface to a tread from an output waveform of an acceleration sensor 11 provided on an inner liner of the tire, a band value P exhibiting a magnitude of a frequency component in a frequency band of 4-10 kHz is calculated from a frequency spectrum obtained by frequency-analyzing the time-series waveform. The band value P is compared with a threshold value K<SB>j</SB>(V) predetermined based on a band value measured with a normal tire mounted and a band value measured with a tire with the separation occurring inside the tire mounted, to determine whether the internal fault occurs in the tire due to the separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
