PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melamine resin molding material which is newly prepared by reusing a melamine resin molded article. SOLUTION: The melamine resin molding material includes a melamine resin and a melamine resin powder prepared by pulverizing a melamine resin molded article. The content of the melamine resin powder is 50-80 mass% of the total amount of the melamine resin and the melamine resin pulverized powder. The melamine resin pulverized powder fulfills its function as a filler, and therefore the melamine resin molding material exerts sufficient capability, such as for the securement of good moldability. The new melamine resin molded article is formed from the melamine resin molding material, has a good appearance, and sufficiently exerts its performances, such as mechanical strength, electric properties, colorability, water resistance, hot water resistance, chemical resistance, etc, as a melamine resin article.
