PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when divided tanks which are divided and manufactured in a conventional transformer tank are fastened and welded, the fastening work time is long and the cost thereof is high since flange parts for joining the divided tanks are fastened over the entire periphery with many C-clamps. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the transformer tank, a hydraulic fastening device 13a is fixed by providing fixing seats 10a, 11a on outer surfaces of the divided tanks, which are fastened to each other through the hydraulic fastening device. Consequently, fastening work for flange parts of the divided tanks become speedy and easy and the manufacturing cost for the transformer tank is reducible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
