PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an effect caused by the interference of a magnetic flux generated by each coil pair in a torque sensor. SOLUTION: The torque sensor 20 includes a first coil pair 22A and a second coil pair 22B which detect the relative displacement of a first rotating shaft 22 and a second rotating shaft 26 connected by a torsion bar 24, by getting it reflected on a change in impedance. The first coil pair 22A and the second coil pair 22B are supplied with an exciting current from different oscillators 60B, respectively. A conductive and nonmagnetic magnetic shield 27 is provided between the first coil pair 22A and the second coil pair 22B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
