<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further activate an oxidation catalyst reaction in an oxidation catalyst device and to further promote continuous regeneration of a particulate filter, to prevent emission of white smoke in winter or the like, to reduce difficulty in design, to facilitate examination of layout of components, and to simplify mounting work. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, when a temperature of the oxidation catalyst device 30 is a predetermined temperature or higher and a collection amount of particulate matter in the particulate filter 20 is a predetermined amount or larger, a gas control valve 60 is opened, liquefied petroleum gas of a gas storage means 40 is supplied, through a gas supply pipe 50, to upstream of exhaust of the oxidation catalyst device 30 in an exhaust passage 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
