PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light bulb type LED lamp securing heat dissipation efficiency while suppressing generation of noise or complication of control.

SOLUTION: A driving circuit 25 varies a rotating direction at the start of an air cooling fan 42 and a rotational velocity of the cooling fan 42 during driving according to prescribed conditions. Heat dissipation efficiency can be secured suppressing the generation of noise or the complication of control unlike conventional control of varying the rotating direction of the air cooling fan 42 during driving thereof. The consumed power can be suppressed since the air cooling fan 42 can be rotated and driven only when needed by varying the rotational velocity of the air cooling fan 42 according to the prescribed conditions.
