<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning protection device for an uninterruptible power supply device for a CATV system, and to provide an uninterruptible power supply device equipped with the lightning protection device. <P>SOLUTION: In the uninterruptible power supply device 100 for the CATV system, an interruptible power supply device body 110 includes an input side circuit 111 and an output side circuit 112, and the lightning protection device 120 includes input-side lightning arresting elements 121, 122 and an output-side lightning arresting element 123. The input-side lightning arresting elements 121, 122 have the one ends connected to the input side of the interruptible power supply device body 110, and the other ends connected to the ground terminal of the interruptible power supply device body 110, and are intended for releasing a surge current from a pair of input-side power supply lines connected to the ground.
