<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce non-uniformity in image caused by an imaging device, an optical element, a shutter and the like without considerably increasing volume of multiband image data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An input profile information generating section 622 divides an image area into a plurality of divided areas and generates divided area representative characteristic information, that is information on a total spectral sensitivity characteristic representative of each divided area, based on a total spectral sensitivity characteristic corresponding to each of a plurality of pixels included in each of the divided areas. The input profile information generating section 622 generates input profile information by summarizing the divided area representative characteristic information together with other information.
