PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyacetal resin composition which is suppressed in both the occurrence of formaldehyde and the mold staining when molded from a molded article. SOLUTION: The method comprises melt-kneading (A) a polyacetal resin and (B) a steric hindered phenol-based compound to thereby manufacture a stabilized pellet, maintaining the product for 6 hours or more in a vapor phase at a temperature of 80°C or higher and lower than the melting point, thereafter melt-kneading the product with (C) a formaldehyde scavenger. A preferable blending amount of (B) the steric hindered phenol-based compound is 0.01-1 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of (A) the polyacetal resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
