PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment with an operation unit capable of effectively protecting an electronic circuit board from electrostatic discharge or secondary electrostatic discharge. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 includes, within a rear cover 1 constituting an outer appearance, an operation member, an electronic circuit board 40 having a switch detecting pattern 42 and a ground pattern 43, and a metal dome sheet having a metal dome 31 for bringing the switch detecting pattern 42 into electric conduction with the ground pattern 43 in response to the operation of operation buttons 8a to 8f of the operation member, wherein the surface of the metal dome 31 is covered by an insulating sheet 32 such that at least part thereof is exposed, and the metal dome 31 is structured to contact the ground pattern 43 on the electronic circuit board 40.
