Provided are magnesium oxide granules which exhibit excellent solubility, good taste, little coarseness in the oral cavity, and an excellent exterior color tone. Specifically provided are fine granules which comprise magnesium oxide particles, a sugar alcohol, and a disintegrator, said magnesium oxide particles being represented by general formula (1): (Mg2+ 1-xZn2+ x)O (1) [wherein X is a number of 0 to 0.02] and having a mean secondary particle diameter of 0.1 to 25µm and an apparent specific volume of 3 to 20ml/g. |
