摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination measuring instrument that measures inclination to the vertical direction of a column, wall surface, or the like of a building, and easily performs high-grade inclination measurement in a short time without rocking a laser light emitter to minute vibration or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the inclination measuring instrument, a telescopic column has an upper block and a lower block. The upper block is connected to an upper part of the column, and includes a light emitter for emitting a laser beam and a rocking controlling means for radiating the laser beam vertically downward. The lower block is connected to a lower part of the column and has a light receiving section, and the upper block and the lower block have an abutting section on a surface to be measured. The upper block is connected to the column via a bracket, and a case having the light emitter and the rocking controlling means is rockably held in the bracket via a shaft. The rocking controlling means includes a horizon sensor for sensing the inclination of the case, and a control section for receiving a signal of the horizon sensor and controlling the light emitter vertically downward with respect to the inclination.
