<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona discharge device, in which a discharge product can be removed from a corona electrode while suppressing the wear of a roller circumferential surface which cleans the corona electrode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The charger 24 includes a corona electrode member 54, a cleaning roller 58, and a holding member 55. The corona electrode member 54 is formed in a saw-tooth shape. The cleaning roller 58 removes the discharge product. The holding member 55 moves the cleaning roller 58 along the longitudinal direction of the corona electrode member 54.
