PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush for a motor that sufficiently ensures the abrasion resistance of the brush while suppressing the reduction of the number of revolutions at motor loading. SOLUTION: In the brush 4 for the motor arranged at the motor which imparts a steering force to a steering system of a vehicle, the brush is mainly composed of natural graphite and copper, and the percentage of the copper is set within a range of 60 to 75 wt.%.
